Emergency Services

The Department of Emergency Services is dedicated to enhancing the safety and quality of life for the university community as well as the surrounding areas. They provide emergency response, emergency medical services, public safety education, and fire prevention and response. The department predominantly serves the Rutgers-New Brunswick/Piscataway campuses however, many services are provided to all university properties statewide.

In 2011, the Department was presented with the Outstanding Public EMS Provider Award by the NJ Department of Health's Office of Emergency Medical Services. Click here to learn more.
